Description

Linda Cook’s colourful and considered abstractions are built of recycled materials that have been given permanent life in the arena of art. Pay attention to their edges, which attach themselves to the wall as though they grew there and suggest worlds beneath the surface. This work is designed to fit into a corner, an overlooked but intriguing aspect of architectural space that allows each half of the painting to talk together. Her works are also currently on exhibition at the Law Faculty at Otago University.
